Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in Psychiatry & Substance Use Treatment
I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a focus on women and gender diverse mental health and substance use treatment. My practice is dedicated to offering compassionate, evidence-based care to support women and gender diverse individuals in overcoming mental health and substance use challenges.
I currently serve as the Lead Nurse Practitioner at Thomas Jefferson University’s Maternal Addictions Treatment Education and Research (MATER) program, where I specialize in treating substance use disorders and psychiatric conditions in pregnant and parenting women. This role allows me to offer a unique, holistic approach to mental health and substance use treatment.
Additionally, I am a Clinical Adjunct Faculty Member at Thomas Jefferson University’s College of Nursing, where I teach and mentor student psychiatric nurse practitioners. I am also proud to be part of the Addiction Medicine Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where I provide training for healthcare professionals on opioid use disorder treatment during pregnancy and harm reduction strategies.
I am passionate about treating both psychiatric and substance use disorders and my mission is to empower you in achieving their mental health and recovery goals.
My professional memberships include the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and the Association of Addiction Professionals
I live in Philadelphia with my husband, daughter, and our cat, Jenny. 
Outside of work, I am dedicated to my family and advocating for better mental health care for underserved individuals.
Currently, I accept United Healthcare and am currently establishing enrollment with Aetna, IBX, Highmark, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna and Oscar. In the meantime, I issue superbills for out of network reimbursement to help make my services accessible to you.
